Nanette
Nanette has been in the field of dentistry for over 22 years. She graduated top of her class and received the Golden Scaler Award from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is a Massachusetts native and returned to Falmouth, with her husband, to be near the ocean and family. She makes the commute to the office as she enjoys the city and the high standards and quality of care offered at Smith Dentistry.

Nanette has helped many fearful patients through sedation dentistry, allowing them to achieve their dental goals. Nanette loves the outdoors, trying new things, and being with her family and friends.
Cillen
Cillen has been in dentistry for over ten years. She graduated, as the Vice President of her class, from New York University College of Dentistry, and has worked with many extremely talented doctors before she came to join Smith Dentistry. An avid learner, she worked with a local periodontists on an FDA sponsored research project.
"I knew when I was 12 years old, that I wanted to be in the dental field, and I am still as passionate about dentistry today as I was then."
When she is not working, Cillen enjoys hiking, camping and dinners with friends.
Our Assistants
Brenda
Brenda started in dentistry at the age of 15, as an after school job, to save money for her first car. Little did she know that she would fall in love. Since her introduction to dentistry she has become passionate about continuing her education and has become certified in Invisalign and by the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry.

Israel
Israel "Izzy" was born in the Philippines. The youngest of eight children of Jose, as philanthropist to the non-profit freedom movement and Priscilla, a neurological head nurse at the University of the Philippines. Izzy graduated from the St. Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines with a B.S. in Biology. He interned at Baguio General Hospital for two years before entering the dental field. He then attended Northwestern University Dagupan City and Northwestern Educational Institution graduating with a Doctor of Dental Medicine and passed his Board of Dental Medicine exams the same year.
One year after graduating from dental school, Izzy immigrated to the United States and he has been here now for 25 years. As a foreign trained dentist he is an invaluable member of the Smith Dentistry team. His extraordinary clinical skills and excellent knowledge of dentistry make him a superb dental assistant.

Our Office Staff
Barbara
Barbara Tosti RDH, BS graduated from the University of Vermont with an associate degree in Dental Hygiene and a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene education. She started her career in Vermont with a periodontist and honed her hygiene skills as well as her assisting skills. Barbara spent three years practicing in a dental office in Lugano Switzerland. It was a wonderful experience professionally and she was able to see most of Europe, Greece, and Israel.
Home was calling and she returned to her native Massachusetts and continued working as a hygienist in a practice focusing on TMJ and myofunctional therapy. She began working at the front office in her next position and found that rewarding as well. She is well versed in all aspects of insurance as well as dental treatment planning and you may occasionally see her filling in for the clinical staff as well.
In her free time she enjoys a large Italian family and her 12 nieces and nephews, mentors high school students in her town, loves to garden and volunteers for the local hospice agency and also at her church.
